Marketing/Product Management Intern

Summary:

This internship is not one where you will be running errands, getting coffee or other non-related tasks. We are looking for people who are self-motivated and can truly develop their marketing skills while also being molded and learning the world of internet marketing. We are looking for people who are willing to learn, willing to work and who want to make the best out of their internship experience. Job description:

• Assist in creating new/innovative marketing initiatives including but not limited to online promotional campaigns, internet commercials, viral internet marketing, blogs, email blasting, etc.
• Assists in the planning, scheduling and execution of these promotional and marketing efforts for clients.
• Will learn how to read and use analytical tools to help monitor user trends for client web pages. Data collected to be used in increasing site visits, click through rate, conversion rates etc.
• Responsible for assisting Product Manager in filtering client’s requests.
• Will be trained to use the Content Management System of our various clients.
• Assisting to identify, research, and resolve issues using the computer system as pertains to the client and their customers.
• Works under product manager to organize information as it relates to clients.

Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task.
• Assists in the planning, scheduling and execution of these promotional and marketing efforts for clients.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn related software applications.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Good problem solving abilities.
• High school diploma or general education degree experience.
• Have taken at least once course in marketing/promotions.

Production Intern

Summary:

As a Production Intern at pLot you will be responsible for gathering information on the day-to-day progress of a variety of web-based projects. This will include monitoring work of pLot’s Development team, fielding calls and emails from Clients and Commerce partners and testing online properties to ensure that they are functioning properly. As a production intern you will answer and report to a Producer and the Lead Developer as well as the Operations Manager and Creative Director. pLot Mutlimedia Developers is a diverse country with developers and designers working remotely in France, Spain and Russia amongst other countries, therefore any prospective candidate would need to be able to function in a multi-cultural, multilingual environment.

Job description

• Help expand our e-commerce and social media applications practice.
• Write abstract innovative code, while still being ready to learn and adopt new ways of problem-solving.
• Possess sufficient experience in building e-commerce platforms, social media applications, e-mail blast systems, and AJAX-oriented interfaces.
• Maintain the development guidelines and conventions of Bureau, our proprietary API.
• Work closely with both the frontend and backend development teams on projects, in order to ensure integration with the backend of all the moving parts
• Integrate Javascript and develop AJAX enhancements and script-based visual effects, in particular, using and developing MooTools plugins and classes.
