Our company isn’t built on the shoulders of a former advertising executives or some really affluent individual who plays golf with major brands CEO. Our company historically and as a principle was founded on being better and understanding this new media landscape by actually travelling and exploring what all these new media formats actually are.
pLot does not conceive, develop, host and maintain our own social media applications because it makes us a lot of money. We do this to have an intimate understanding of what should be the logical questions. What happens when you launch a social network. Where do you get users from? What do you do when people get tired of it. How do you avert an attack from hackers. We know the answers from a theoretical point of view, or by reading Ad Age or another companies white paper. We are one of the very few.
We have all been at the same digital conferences waiting for a industry notable with the best PR on the panel to tell us some miraculous solution to all our problems. They never seem to have to have an answer.
